Flair to produce souvenir issue of Vincy Carnival

THE PUBLISHERS of the Flair newspaper tabloid would be commemorating the 30th Anniversary of “Vincy Carnival” since the change over to a June/July summer festival in 1977 by producing a special souvenir collection Pre-Carnival issue, entitled – “Memories of Vincy Carnival” (A Photographer’s Dream).{{more}}

This souvenir collection of Vincy Carnival, is but a bird’s eye view of three decades of the nation’s premier cultural festival, and is a fitting tribute to the hard work, sacrifice, craftsmanship, skill, talent and wizardry of Vincentian Carnival makers – namely the Mas Bands, Calypsonians, steel bands and beauty show organizers, administrators, musicians and artistes.

The 60-page Pre-Carnival Souvenir publication would be printed on white bond glossy paper in full colour high resolution print for lovers of Carnival, visitors, tourists and Vincentians in the diaspora. This is certainly a collectors’ edition worth cherishing for life.

A total of 10,000 copies would be printed and distributed locally, regionally and internationally to attract more visitors and patrons to Vincy Carnival 2007.

“Memories of Vincy Carnival” would be published on Friday 29th June 2007 and printed at Nation Graphics in Barbados.

Small Money Publishing has assembled a professional team of editors, researchers, writers, historians, administrators, photographers, graphic designers and contributors to produce an excellent publication.
