CDC announces finalists for the Junior Calypso / Soca Competition

The Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) has announced the finalists in the Junior Calypso / Soca Competition 2007 scheduled for Tuesday 3rd July, 2007 at the Victoria Park.{{more}}

In the Primary School calypso division, the finalists are: Tamara Enoe – Reparation; Kelsia Haynes – Me nah no slave; Gaffeisha Smar t- Stop discriminating us; Lesleen Jeffrey Them nasty Van driver; Terrancia Cornwall – Parents lose control; Odylia Providence -Great Vincentians.

In the Secondary School calypso category, the finalists are: Natalie Gibson – My Plan; Rodrick Patterson – Back from the start; Daneisha Simmons – Justice; Afiya Gurley – Time changes; Amunik Martin – Gun thing; Donella Power – Youths change up your style; Tretius Haynes – Hang dem.

The Junior Soca Monarch Finalists are Faylicia John – Soca Music; Afiya Gurley -Wave it up; Zamfir Adams – Action; Kayleen Garrick – Everybody; Cheno Baptiste – Mashing up the place; Hans John – Mash up the place; Nigel Creese – Melove Recardo Browne – Bad mind.
