Students studying in Cuba get coats

students at the Raudilio Flietas Caribbean School of Nursing, in Jaguey Grande, Matanzas Cuba, were the recipients of over 100 coats collected on the initiative of Vincentian Dr. Stanley John and Cosmos Cozier, SVG Consul General in New York and donated by caring Vincentians.{{more}}

The coats were handed over at the Embassy of SVG in Cuba by Minister of Health Dr. Slater who was on a one week visit. He held discussions with Cuban health authorities on ways of improving the medical cooperation agreement between SVG and Cuba.

The Embassy on behalf of the students expressed its gratitude for the thougtfulness and caring demonstrated by the gesture.
