Digicel is the Key to Roxanne Gill’s $150 000 Fortune

Naomi Gill, a 28-year-old woman of Richmond Hill is now looking at 2007 with greater optimism. On Tuesday, Gill won $150,000 in the “Digicel is the Key to your $150,000 Fortune” draw.

Gill, a prepaid customer of Digicel, luckily chose the correct key that opened the Digicel chest that held her $150,000 fortune. The promotion ran for 3 months and ended on January 3rd as part of Digicel’s Christmas offer.{{more}}

The promotion required customers to Top Up their phones and spell the word DIGICEL, use Direct Top-Up to top up electronically or pay their Post Paid bills on time to be in a draw to win the $150,000. The customers who qualified also automatically won $1000 cash.

The grand finale was held at the Chamber of Commerce Board Room in Kingstown on January 9, 2006 and was hosted by Digicel’s Public Relations Manager for the Eastern Caribbean – Jerry George. The ten customers one by one tried the key they had chosen to see if it opened the chest. As the key turned when Naomi opened the chest there was fanfare and excitement as champagne was popped and balloons were dropped.
