Courts matches Salvation Army’s donations dollar for dollar!

Courts St Vincent Ltd. has come to the assistance of the Salvation Army’s Kettle Appeal for yet another year matching the amount of money which was placed in the kettle outside of its Kingstown store.

During the period December 18 to 22 Courts staff also rung the bell and appealed to the public to donate money. At the final count members of the public donated $3,269.90 and Courts wrote a cheque matching the amount.{{more}}

“We are obliged to help those among us who are less fortunate. The Salvation Army has always been a very reputable charity and spiritual organization with people’s interest at heart and we feel privileged to assist them in their efforts,” said Alexis Harry, Courts’ Marketing Executive. “This support does not end here as we intend to extend our help to the Salvation Army’s Kettle Appeal for many years to come. Special thanks to the public for the generosity they have shown, it was indeed a pleasure working with you and we look forward to your continued support in the future.”

Accepting the monetary donation on behalf of the Salvation Army was Major Henry King, who expressed sincere gratitude to Courts and its wonderful staff for their commitment and support towards the Kettle Appeal Campaign during such a very busy period. He wished the company God’s richest blessings for the season and the New Year, 2007.
