Business license easier to get in SVG than anywhere else says World Bank Group

This country is ranked number one in the world when it comes to dealing with business Licenses, according to a report by the staff of the World Bank Group on doingbusiness.org.

The annual report “How to Reform” is the fourth in a series of publications investigating the regulations that enhance business activity and constraints in 175 economies it covers worldwide.{{more}}

Doing Business, an online database which provides indicators on the cost of doing business through business investment, productivity and growth, puts this country ahead of countries such as the United Kingdom and the United States.

Japan, Thailand and Belize followed this country with St. Kitts/Nevis and St. Lucia positioned at seventh and tenth in the listing on the “Dealing with Licenses” category.

Where the region is concerned St. Vincent and the Grenadines was ranked 44 for ease in doing business in the world.

Only St. Lucia at number 27 and Antigua at 33 stood ahead of this country.

Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago followed at 50 and 59 respectively.
