Governor-General to address Officers

Gazzetted Officers of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force will hold a Retreat at the Anglican Pastoral Centre on August 10-11, 2006 commencing at 9 a.m. under the theme “Equipping ourselves to Face the Challenges Ahead”.

The main objective of the Retreat is to formulate strategies for the further development of the Police Force and the creation of a crime fighting strategy to counter the emerging trends.{{more}}

There would be an opening ceremony which will be addressed by Commissioner of Police Keith Miller and Chairman of the Public and Police Service Commission Cecil “Blazer” Williams.

The feature address will be delivered by His Excellency, the Governor-General, Sir Frederick Ballantyne.
