Taiwan’s Ambassador presents credentials

His Excellency, Ambassador Yu-Tai Cheng who replaces Ambassador Elizabeth Chu as Taiwan’s Ambassador to St. Vincent and the Grenadines presented his credentials to Governor-General Sir Frederick Ballantyne on Tuesday, February 14.

In Tuesday’s brief meeting, Sir Frederick commented that Ambassador Cheng is a “very worthy replacement (for Ambassador Chu)”. Sir Frederick also reaffirmed this country’s support of the Republic of China and expressed his hope that at the end of the new Ambassador’s tenure, the warmth of the Vincentian populace would make it difficult for him to depart.{{more}}
