New converts take bold new step

The waters at Villa Beach are literally blessed every weekend as the area has become a popular venue for Water Baptism.

Last Saturday morning was one of those special occasions for six new converts (all young people) from the Faith Word Ministries who were baptized. {{more}}

Pastor Ezekiel Creese led the service assisted by Pastor Ian Beach and Elder Stinson Delpesche who delivered the exhortations.

Delpesche in his message, reminded the gathering of the story in the Bible of the Ethiopian eunuch who was led to Christ by Philip and was baptized that same day on the road to Gaza.

The ceremony climaxed at the very end when one member of the audience, Keisha Rodney, whose name was not among those who were to be baptized, responded to an invitation to come forward, and was baptized.

Faith Word Ministries is a relatively new Christian Organisation in SVG having been around for 12 years. The organization has a membership of over 300 with branches in Dauphine, Greiggs and Walvereau.
