C&W announces Valentine’s special
Cable and Wireless launched its Valentineâs Promotion on Wednesday 1st February, 2006.
The promotion will span every line of business, but according to the Marketing Manager, Aberra Larcher, “Some of the offers in this promotion are for the entire month and it’s such a sweet deal for our customers that some elements will be launched in phases, mobile being the first out the door.”{{more}}
The Mobile aspect of the promotion entails reduced prices on Handsets. This offer is coupled with a Grand Prize draw for an all inclusive weekend at the Sandal Grande St Lucia with air fare provided by LIAT. To qualify for the grand prize, persons must purchase one of the handsets in the Valentineâs promotion and will be awarded a voucher to fill out and drop in a box provided at the outlet.
In addition to the Valentineâs offering, Cable & Wireless has reintroduced Free After 5. This promotion allows GSM pre-paid customers to make mobile to mobile or mobile to fixed line calls at any time of the day, spend five minutes and after that the call is FREE.
Cable & Wireless also has a text element to the promotion where customers can text “LOVE” to 8627 and become eligible to win dinners and weekend getaways from partners such as Friendship Bay Beach Resort, Young Island, Sunsail and French Verandah.
“Cable & Wireless is a diverse company and we are doing things for our customers before they ask for it. Our aim as a full service provider is not only to sell our goods and services but also to keep our customers happy and give them value,” said Chief Executive Daryl Jackson.
“Our re launch of Free after five is testimony to this and I’m sure our customers will be elated with this,” Jackson added.
