Charles on mission for Christ

Recording artist Anita Charles is promising her fans that she will soon be back, as many persons have expressed their “anxious anticipation” and feeling of not being able to wait until next year for VINCI 2006.

On July 2, 2005, Anita Charles’ quest to “TAKE BACK St. Vincent and the Grenadines for Jesus” was taken a step further with the staging of a rally dubbed VINCI 2005, at the Arnos Vale Netball Complex.{{more}}

The rally, which was attended by a large crowd of spectators and participants was preceeded by a motorcade of dozens of colourfully decorated vehicles.

The Arnos Vale Netball Complex was filled with a festive blend of persons of every age and from varying denominations. There were activities for children, food and performances by various Christian artistes.

Anita Charles passionately contends that “this world is created by God, and that the Almighty has the right to delegate to me any assignment at any time, and for any place… according to His will,” hence the timing of the rally on the same day as the 2005 Soca Monarch Carnival show.

Charles further acknowledged that VINCI 2005 was successful because of “applied wisdom in refraining from solo ventures, but seeking the participation and cooperation of the spiritual leaders of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.”

A release from the Anita Charles’ Ministries said that “the support of Anita Charles’ husband, Dennis Charles is also sending a direct and needed message to observers, of the importance of being a “Man” in the context of marriage, by lending his support, as he realizes that he is ultimately supporting the Kingdom of God.”
