Group gives to Kiwani’s

The Sion Hill Bay/ Bay Hill neighbourhood watch group made three donations on Tuesday. Cheques of $300 each were presented to the Kiwanis Club of Kingstown and the Roman Catholic Guadaloupe Home for Girls to be built at Cane End.

The third donation was made to Yroka John of Sion Hill, a wheelchair bound young man. He received $200. {{more}}The Kiwani’s Club was represented by Danine Jones and Sasha Seudath-Singh, while the the Guadaloupe Home was represented by Lovic C. Desormeaux, Treasurer of the R.C. Diocese of Kingstown.

The neighbourhood watch group was represented by Chairman Luis DeShong and Treasurer Francis Llewelyn. The donations are the group’s way of giving back to the community on the 4th anniversary of their existence.
