Persons affected by the Cross Country Road can expect some help from the contractors. That’s according to Transport, Works, and Housing Minister Louis Straker. {{more}}

The Minister was responding to concerns raised by resident Julian O’Garro whose house sits just above the road on the path between Rose Hall and Troumaca.

O’Garro raised alarm about the safety of his property owing to excavation work in that area. His situation was highlighted in the June 10 edition of the Searchlight newspaper.

Work on Phase One from Troumaca to Rose Hall began earlier this year and has been progressing.
