Paynter new SMSS Principal

Father Richard Paynter has been appointed principal of the St. Martins Secondary School with effect from Monday August 1, 2005.

The announcement was made on Monday by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kingstown.{{more}}

Father Paynter, who was ordained to the Catholic priesthood on October 10, 2004, is a graduate of Codrington College and the University of the West Indies. He has many years of pastoral experience having previously been ordained an Anglican priest in 1977.

Father Paynter replaces Gregory Sarkar who served as principal of the leading Catholic Boys’ school for six years.
