CP stars at NBC Carolling Contest

Christmas is about song and celebration and NBC Radio kicked off the season with their Carolling Contest at the venue where it all started, the Grammar School roundabout at Richmond Hill. {{more}}Last Saturday nights show featured was billed to showcase the talents of Tobago’s Biggly B as headliner, with Lennox Bowman and his brother Roland Bowman making his debut performance with “Ah want Peace.”

The actual contest provided more fun than quality, eventually won by the Brewery Carollers over a quartet representing the Community College, and groups of fun voices from both NBC and HitzFM.

The most exciting act on the show was Carlton “CP” Hall whose Christmas songs have become a hit with children and had the little ones performing onstage with him.

Biggly B wrapped up the show after rain had threatened to dampen many spirits and still had many of gthe relatively small crowd around to enjoy his repertoire.

This show has the potential to be marketed as a true clean family event next year.
