After a long wait, the Leeward Bus Terminal was finally opened in a quiet ceremony with the presence of members of government, the executive of the National Omnibus Association (NOBA) and a small gathering of onlookers. {{more}} The Terminal, which came out of a protest by mini bus operators last April 19, was constructed at the cost of $368,000 complete with washrooms.
