The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Youth
for Christ and the Association of Evangelical Churches have announced that they will be hosting a National Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, September 26, at 4:30 p.m. at the Central Market Square in Kingstown. {{more}}
A release from Pastor Ellsworth Neale, the National Director of Youth for Christ, said the service “is designed to thank God for the way He spared our nation from Hurricane Ivan and also to pray for Grenada as they are in the rebuilding process”.
The release says monetary offerings as well as food and clothing will be taken at the service. Booths will be set up for receiving items.
The organisers have made an appeal to all individuals, churches and business places to be a part of this very important event and to bring whatever contribution they can bring.
