Public Servants take centre stage

Minister of Public Service the Hon. Sir Vincent Beache launched the activities for Public Service Week 2004 at Cabinet Room last Monday. {{more}}
Minister Beache said, “Over the years public servants have performed creditably, however in every situation there is always room for improvement, conversely there is no room for inconsistency.”
He went on to say that government is on a thrust to modernising and reforming public service so that they could better and efficiently deliver all the services provided by the government to the public.
He also said the teamwork is critical as government seeks to reshape and rebuild the public service.
The Public Service Week activities ran from the 12th September to the 17th of September under the theme “Reforming, Rebuilding, Reshaping – to better serve the public.”
