President of the Kingstown Co-operative Credit Union (KCCU) Reuben John last Wednesday presented a cheque for EC$12,000 to Minister of Tourism and Culture Rene Baptiste.
The money is half sponsorship for the Sixth KCCU National Dance Festival scheduled to step off tomorrow Saturday 18 at the Peace Memorial Hall at Richmond Hill. {{more}}
The cheque was handed over at a National Dance Festival media launch, held in the conference room of the Cruise Ship and Ferry Berth.
Persons attending the launch included Dance Development Officer Ann-Marie Venner, General Manager of KCCU Clement Lynch, KCCU’s Accountant Ali Munroe and Chairman of KCCU’s Education Committee Michael John, among other persons.
