Digicel gets new CEO

Digicel has announced that it will appoint a new chief executive officer to replace Seamus Lynch who will join the company’s board of directors.
The new man is Raoul Fontanez who most recently was CEO of Orange Dominicana in the Dominican Republic and Orange Caraibe in the French West Indies. {{more}}
Digicel says in the new position Lynch will “work closely with Chairman Denis O’Brien to develop other telecoms opportunities”. Both men assume their new roles from September 1st.
Digicel has been making rapid strides in the telecommunications market since it was launched in Jamaica where it then expanded into St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, Grenada and Barbados.
