Art programme for youths

Young children will have an artistic option for this year’s school vacation. For the fourth year running the Youlou Arts Foundation, a non-profit organization, will hold an art camp.
The programme offers children between the ages five – 15 the opportunity to experience a visual arts education in the form of an art day during July to August. {{more}}Spokesperson for the Youlou Arts Foundation Jacintha Hope says the children will be educated about traditional SVG art and culture, providing a broader exposure to art in general including different media and techniques.
This year’s camp will be for the first time held in three locations: Kingstown, Barrouallie and Georgetown. The art camp will be held for 3 weeks starting on July 12 through July 30.
