Chinese Team Arrives In Dominica
A high-level technical team from the Peopleâs Republic of China has arrived in Dominica.
The nine-member technical team, which includes seven engineers and two Chinese government officials, is to undertake preparatory work on the redesign and pre-construction of the Windsor Park Sporting Cultural and Recreational Complex in capital Roseau.{{more}}
The team, who arrived on Friday May 28, 2004,,is led by team leader and senior architect Wang Jinsong.
On Sunday, May 30, 2004, the technical team visited the Windsor Park site and also held discussions with Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit on Monday, May 31, 2004.
The Chinese team has expressed its commitment to build a world-class modern sporting facility at Windsor Park.
It is expected that the Chinese delegation will be in Dominica for just over two weeks.
