The days of that may be over, because look at what SEARCHLIGHT found â an electric coconut grinder, a one of a kind innovation, conceptualized, designed and created by Ken Lewis of Georgetown, St Vincent and the Grenadines.
According to Lewis, his machine can grate a five-gallon bucket of coconut in about 10 minutes.
Coconuts may be classified as a fruit, seed or nut. When shredded or grated, the flesh may be used in many mouthwatering delicacies, including cakes, bread, puddings and deserts.
Spas offering pedicures, massages and other treatments depend heavily on the grated coconut to enhance their products and to meet the desires of their clients. Some soaps, creams and hair treatments are products made from the shredded coconut. We get coconut milk and the very popular and healthy coconut oil from the squeezed, grated coconut.
Blood cholesterol level is lowered and anemia can be prevented with the use of this fruit which contains fibre, fats, vitamin, calcium, iron, protein, potassium and other nutrients.
