The recital, held under the auspices of Prime Minister of St Kitts Dr Denzil L. Douglas was held at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium at the East Caribbean Central Bank headquarters.

According to a release from ASMA, participants from Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Grenada, St Kitts/Nevis, St Lucia, St Maarten, and St Vincent and the Grenadines, and an effervescent Master of Ceremonies were all exceptional, and the hard work put into the planning and execution of all were evident and highly appreciated with loud cheers and standing ovations.

The release said Clarke’s performance resulted in prolonged cheers by the audience and the MC’s comments on the passion and emotion put into his playing.

“We take this opportunity to congratulate Delvon Clarke, and by extension, all students currently enrolled in any of our Music Education Institutions across St Vincent and the Grenadines, and, our hard working teachers for their sacrificial input into our nations blossoming musicians,” the release said.

“The Music Association of St Vincent and the Grenadines is truly happy and indeed proud of our accomplishments in music to date, and do look forward to higher levels of excellence among our ranks. We hasten to appeal to our Vincentian people to be ever progressive, to be trained, and to become qualified, toward the achievement of opportunity-readiness, self-actualization, and international world standards, as we continue to deliver music around the world.”
