The production, which is being held in conjunction with the Agape Performing Theatre, is expected to have patrons fully entertained, so says Kevin Roderiquez of Agape.
Speaking to SEARCHLIGHT earlier this week, Roderiquez said the link with the Dominican group came about as a result of close contact between the groups, which led to them requesting to stage their production here tomorrow and Sunday.
Roderiquez said the play was written and directed by Steve Hyacinth in 2003 and noted that the group, which he said has been around for the past 30 years, has travelled to numerous Caribbean islands to perform.
According to Roderiquez, the staging of the show is one of the ways in which they are celebrating Emancipation, where people can express themselves as a Caribbean people through theatre.
Guest appearances will be made by steel pan player Rodney Small, singer Stacy Lyttle and a host of other acts.
Roderiquez thanked N L Songs, Vita Malt, SVG Postal Corporation, Bay Hill Apartments and NBC Radio for partnering with them for the event.
Show time is at 8 p.m. (KW)
