Hance John, who had been selected to compete with his song âMash Up Feteâ, is out of the show, having been advised by his doctor to rest his voice.
A representative for John told SEARCHLIGHT on Wednesday that the four-time junior soca monarch is unable to perform, as he has come down with laryngitis. He said Hance is very disappointed that he cannot perform, but realizes that his health comes first.
The young singer placed fourth last Friday night in the Ragga Soca competition, with his song âDown Deyâ.
John, who graduated from the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College in 2011, won the junior soca crown from 2006 to 2009.
