Shanal Nanton snatched the coveted title of SVG Country Music karaoke Idol 2010 on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Grand Finale of the Next Level Country Music Karaoke Idol Contest and Dance held at the Club Calabash.{{more}}

In front of a large audience tightly packed with enthusiastic and dedicated karaoke and country music fans, Shanel battled nine other finalists through two keenly contested rounds of signing. Nevertheless, Rohan Morgan got the Crowd Favourite award with approval from the audience.

Next Level Country Music Club apologised for their absence at the much anticipated appearance of the Country Relatives and asked patrons to look forward to their performance at the Idol award and prize giving show to be held on March 5, 2011, at Club Calabash.
