J Holiday to perform in SVG next week
US Rhythm and Blues sensation J Holiday is slated to perform here next weekend.{{more}}
Holiday, real name Nahum Grymes, will play a one night set at the Aquatic Club on Saturday, February 27.
With two albums under his belt (Back of my Lac in 2007 and last yearâs Grammy nominated Round Two), the 27-year-old crooner has already topped the charts with hits like âBedâ, âSuffocateâ and âItâs Yoursâ.
The show will be the second event organized by the newest entertainment group in the country: Mpire Entertainment.
Last weekend, Mpire hosted Miami based DJ Papa Keith at the Grenadines House in a wine and roses Valentineâs Day event which received rave reviews.
According to Mpire representative Delroy Mcree, the group expects its second outing to be just as entertaining, indicating that requests for advance tickets have been favourable.
Mcree said that the group has already been in discussions with a number of R&B acts for performances her in the near future; the like of Bobby Valentino, Trey Songz, Keisha Cole, T- Pain and others.
While here, J Holiday is expected to be on a number of radio stations, and make television appearances.
