Regional models to fly in for Fashion Caribbean
With the fashion world beginning to buzz as designers and models the world over get ready for the busiest of fashion seasons, Vincentians will certainly not be left out. The Image models are rearing to go, the designers have been contacted, and the regional press is waiting. This year, business houses and regional models have also been added to the showâs roster of participants.
The agencyâs Market Place is set to be the main feature of this yearâs three-day event; however the highlight still remains the Fashion Show.
This year the show is scheduled to feature models from St. Kitts, Guyana, and Grenada alongside the troupe of local models.
The participation of these models is part of the agencyâs aim to make Fashion Caribbean a complete Caribbean package. It is the agencyâs hope that with the Market Place, Fashion Caribbeanâs appeal will increase greatly to include an even wider sector within the region. The agency has outlined a three-year plan which is geared at increasing the numbers of visitors to the event, as well as to create additional foreign exchange in the island.
Fashion Caribbean will be held at the Cruise Ship Berth, and runs from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd September, with the fashion show on the night of Saturday, 2nd September, 2006.
