The event will feature artistes DJ Twenty, Delroy âFiremanâ Hooper, and Sexy Sugarz, Road March and former Soca Monarch Cornelius âPoorsahâ Williams.
Jamal âSkinny Fabulousâ Doyle, who has Chateaubelair roots, adds to the cast. Virus and the Raspect family are among the home based performers. Alla-G, Homey and Hot Sand will join them.
Musical output will be fortified by Johnny Q, from Trinidad and Tobago, supported by Exclusive Sounds, the Blow Out Crew, Kid Supreme, DJ Roach, Fugitive and Ice Cold.
This event is a continuation of activities which peaked in North Leeward two weeks ago. Royalties hit the spotlight in beauty and calypso shows, and the culmination was a street party also featuring the Roses Crew.
Some of the biggest contenders for this yearâs Road March are emerging from the district. Numbers like DJ Twentyâs âSoca Doctor,â Firemanâs âMad too,â and Poorsahâs âSoft man,â are reflective of the areaâs prolific output.
And Roses Crew enhanced their outlook when Sexy Sugarz won the first female Soca monarch competition.
