Junior Calypso geets attention

Various schools from across the country were represented at a Junior Calypso Symposium held at the Red Cross headquarters last Friday.

The forum, used to sharpen the skills of the Junior calypsonians, was organised by the National Cultural Foundation, the Carnival Development Corporation, SVG Calysonians’ Association and the Ministry of Education. {{more}}

The students got tips on composition, vocal performance and stage presentation through facilitators, Kenneth “Scakes” Alleyne, Tracey Connell, Vincent Stewart and Junior Sutherland.
