Another talented Vincentian young lady recently won first place in the Miss Worldwide Teen Beauty Pageant 2004, held September 25th at Wingate High School in Brooklyn, New York.
Seventeen-year-old Nadia Horne, a former St. Josephâs Convent Marriaqua student, charged ahead of the field of eight contestants representing countries from as far away as Nigeria. {{more}}
Nadia, who currently resides in the USA, is the daughter of Josette Sargeant and Ardon Horne. She also took the Best Evening Gown award.
She was sponsored by Blak Shuga Graphix, a New York-based graphic arts company owned by Vincentian Franklyn âSupadexâ Richards.
The prizes for her stellar performance include return-trip tickets to SVG, a US$500 scholarship, and a modelling contract.
