Skillet BBQ Shrimp
You will need:
2 pounds raw shrimp, peeled and
deveined
1 cup unsalted butter
1/ 4 cup lemon juice
1/ 4 cup Worcestershire sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/ 2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Barbeque sauce
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Method:
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, oregano, thyme, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer. Add shrimp to the skillet,
cooking until pink and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally. Add a few tablespoons of barbeque sauce to the shrimp to cover fully. Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve hot.
