Pregnant again, how am I going to tell my boyfriend

Hi Rosie.

I just found out that I am pregnant again! My second baby is only five months old and my oldest is two.  So I am freaking out, Rosie. The worse part is that I have not told my boyfriend. He is going to flip out, because things are tight and I just went back to work. How am I going to do this?

Wow, your hands are full! I know you must feel very overwhelmed, but you WILL get through this.

I know you are nervous to tell your boyfriend, but you should do that as soon as possible. It is necessary for both of you to share the responsibilities and planning for the new life and changes that are on the way.

Also you may have to reach out to love ones to help you a little more with the little ones.  Again, you are not the first woman to go through this and you will not be the last.  How you handle it is key.

Lastly, my love, let’s talk contraception so we do not have baby number 4 shortly. Sometimes women think breastfeeding prevents pregnancy and that is not true. Make sure you talk to your doctor regarding your best options.

You will get through this phase and come out stronger.  You just have to plan more efficiently going forward.  Good luck!
