My advice to you at this precious age of 15 is to stay still. I know this is really NOT what you want to hear, but let’s talk for a minute – you have been seeing this boy since you were an 11-year-old child? This is intense and forgive me, a little nuts! You haven’t given yourself the time to be a carefree teenager, one who could just do the uncomplicated things teenagers would do. You have trapped yourself in a heavy and deep relationship with someone 10-20 years older than you!

Look, I don’t know what you did, but the fact that you said you want him to “trust” you again means you had some other type of drama and this just confirms that this isn’t the time for you to be in this kind of grown-up relationship. So, I am strongly suggesting to you that you embrace this stage of your life right now and consider it a blessing rather than a curse. When you feel sad, write your feelings down in a journal and vent about your feelings in that way. You would be so surprised how much this will help you heal, especially when you look back after a few months of doing this.

Finally, remember you are NOT defined by a boy. You have so much to look forward to, so you must not limit yourself like this. I believe in you; so step forward in faith, my friend.
