District Stairs helping survivors of Langley Park fire rebuild
In response to the devastating fire in Georgetown on October 23, 2024, which claimed the lives of two young children, District Stairs SVG Ltd, said it has extended some support to the affected family.
In a release, the business, headed by CEO, Marlon Bute, announced that District Stairs SVG Ltd, is providing luxury vinyl planks, bathroom tiles and tools, free of charge, for the reconstruction of the family home.
In addition, it said Bute also has provided one of the affected residents, Maureen, who lost all her crochet materials, tablet and cellphone in the fire, with threads, needles, scissors, and other necessary supplies to resume her crochet work, and a new tablet and cellphone.
The business said in its release that the family expressed profound gratitude for the support received, and Bute said, “It was incredibly fulfilling to see the smiles on their faces. We’re honoured to support, them as they rebuild and recover from this heartbreaking tragedy”.
