Retired educator chopped, robbed in Sandy Bay

Police are investigating an incident in Sandy Bay which has left a retired educator nursing chop wounds about his body at the weekend.

Around noon on Sunday, October 13, 2024, retired teacher/ farmer, Keith Baptiste was robbed and viciously chopped about his body.

SEARCHLIGHT has learnt that the 69 year old retired educator was robbed and viciously wounded at his home at London, Sandy Bay . A Facebook post shows the victim on his back with a gaping wound stretching from his nose across the right side of his face.

Baptiste is now a patient at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, and persons are praying for him to have a full recovery.

The police are carrying out investigations into the matter.
