Vincentian in Antigua critical after serious road accident, relative located

The relatives of a Vincentian man who was critically injured in a road traffic accident in Antigua last Sunday, August 11, 2024, have been located.

Earlier this week, authorities in Antigua sent out a bulletin trying to locate the immediate family members of Michael ‘Nimo’ Scott.

Scott is said to be in a critical condition at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre in Antigua following what the Antigua media described as, “a horrific automobile accident”.

The Police Public Relations Department told SEARCHLIGHT on Wednesday, August 14, that at least one family member was contacted and that person has been in contact with the relevant authorities in Antigua.

“It is critical to involve his family in major choices about his care, and time

is of the importance,” a

notice from Antigua had said. No details were included in the Antigua notice about the vehicle incident itself nor the condition of Scott.
