EC$50,000 reward still up for grabs – ACP Trevor Bailey
The EC$50,000 reward being offered for information pertaining to the July 19, 2023 shooting deaths of five males is still on the table.
The rumour that the reward had already been claimed was dispelled on Monday by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) with responsibility for crime fighting Trevor “Buju” Bailey during a press briefing which was held at the Central Police Station in Kingstown.
The reward is being offered for the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the shooting deaths of Lamont “Dutchie” Hector, Dondre Hillocks, Jamal Bobb, Ricky Taylor, and Kashie Primus.
The men were gunned down while in the Harbour Club area of Kingstown.
ACP Bailey said on Monday that the investigation into that matter is very much ongoing and encouraged persons to pass on any information they may have to the police.
“I want to dispel a rumour that the reward that has been offered has been cashed in. The reward is still up for grabs and we are urging the members of society, St Vincent and the Grenadines, to feel free
to cooperate with the police…,” the ACP said.
