Cause of 7-year-old’s death undetermined – Autopsy
POLICE INVESTIGATORS were reportedly shocked on Monday afternoon when the report of the autopsy conducted on the body of seven-year-old Lenny Lewis pronounced that the cause of death is undetermined.
The decomposing body of Lewis, a Grade 1 student at the Stubbs Government School was found last Thursday, May 19, in the front seat of a damaged car which is awaiting repairs at a roadside garage along the road leading to the Diamond Landfill.
Reports from persons who knew him and sometimes gave him something to eat, are that the lad was basically ‘fending for himself’ and was often not at home until evening.
His mother, Anella Lewis said she last saw her second to last child on Monday, May 16.
The findings of the autopsy have now added some mystery to the investigation and a source close to the investigation told SEARCHLIGHT that a second opinion may have to be requested for the sake of all involved.
Many have been speculating as to what caused the death of the 7-year-old, and according to our source, investigators are determined to find out what caused Lenny’s death.
