DJ Crizmo a person of interest in rape probe

Kesron Jacobs, alias “DJ Crizmo”, a person of interest in the sexual assault of a Grade Six pupil, was up to press time, still on the run.

On Tuesday, police issued a wanted bulletin for Jacobs, a labourer, from the Chili/Dickson area.

The 28-year-old is dark in complexion, has a long face and thick lips. He is 5’ 9” tall, with brown eyes. He has no noticeable distinguishing marks.

Police say that Jacobs must be approached with caution.

Jacobs made headlines last month after four voice notes began making the rounds on social media, in which a woman who claimed that she was the mother of a female Grade Six pupil said that on October 9, her daughter was home alone, trying on clothes, when a man entered the house and raped the child.

The mother said in the voice notes that the man lives three houses away from her daughter and that the day after her daughter was allegedly raped, a man messaged her on Facebook messenger.

She said that she asked that man to meet with her, but he refused and suggested instead that they talk on WhatsApp.

She said that she added the man on WhatsApp and she

has saved the conversations and is patiently awaiting a court date.

This week, it was reported that Jacobs said that he is trying to raise EC$500 to pay a lawyer to hand him over to the police. He is alleged to have said that he is not in hiding, but the police cannot find him because they are looking in the wrong places.
