A 30-year-old man has been arrrested after his 15-year-old niece turned up pregnant.

Up to press time Wednesday night the Vincentian man was assisting officers of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) with their investigations into the pregnancy of his 15-year-old niece.{{more}}

The uncle was arrested on Tuesday, January 3.

Sources close to the home said they became aware of the girl’s pregnancy two weeks before Christmas. The teenager is reportedly due to give birth in the next four months. The sources claim the child told her relatives the act was committed by her uncle.
