Carpenter charged with theft of NTRC garbage bin

A carpenter from Kingstown was this week charged with stealing property belonging to the National Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (NTRC).

Junior Storage, age 57, was arrested and charged on May 16, 2024 with the offense of theft in relation to one blue ninety-gallon (90gal) garbage bin valued at $1,002.65 EC. The garbage bin was reported stolen at Richmond Hill on May 11, 2024.

Straker pleaded guilty to the offence on May 17,2024 when he appeared in court and was remanded in custody.

The matter was adjourned to May 28, 2024, for sentencing.
