Frenches businessman charged with two counts of theft

Diallo Small, a businessman of Frenches, has been charged with the offence of theft.

Small, 34, is accused of stealing EC$10,000.00 in cash – the property of a 40-year-old manager of South Union.

The incident is alleged to have occurred at Kingstown at about 1:00 pm on July 13, 2020, a release from the Police Public Relations department said.

The accused was further charged with the theft of EC$14,000.00 in cash – the property of a 40-year-old manager of South Union.

The incident is alleged to have occurred at Kingstown at about 3:00 pm on October 2, 2020.

Small appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Tuesday, March 28 where he pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was released on $25,000 bail.

He was represented by lawyer Grant Connell.
