Police investigate another alleged church theft

The police say they are investigating a report of burglary made by a 52-year-old female pre-school teacher of Glen against some unknown person or persons.

This time, the investigations are with respect to the Church of the Nazarene at Arnos Vale. This has come just around one week after a report of alleged burglary at a church at Georgetown where items in excess of $EC4,000 were stolen.

According to their current investigations, the police say the assailant or assailants entered the Nazarene Church as a trespasser between October 10th and 11th and stole one power wash valued at $EC 5,000 among a quantity of items valued at $EC5,035., the property of the Church of the Nazarene.

The police further say they are investigating another report of arson made by a 27 year old chauffeur of Lowmans Leeward against some unknown person or persons who allegedly destroyed the interior of motor vehicle H-435 valued at $EC12,000 by setting it on fire. The incident occurred at Lowmans Leeward between October 7th and 8th 2021.
