He told Senior Magistrate Donald Browne that all he did was show the woman his penis.

Benn, a resident of Villa, pleaded guilty to charges of annoying and indecent exposure when he appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court last Friday.

On the charge of annoying, Benn was sentenced to three months in prison. He was placed on a six month bond, in the sum of $500, on the charge of indecent exposure.

The court heard that on Monday, April 30, at about 10:00 a.m., Pharmacist Lisa Casino was at work at Lights Pharmacy at Arnos Vale when Benn entered the establishment and had a conversation with her about sex. Benn then took out his penis, masturbated, and left the pharmacy when he was finished. He returned the following day and attempted to do the same thing.

On Wednesday, May 2, at 7:30 a.m., Benn again showed up at Casino’s workplace and started banging on the door, demanding to be let inside. Casino refused to open the door.

Benn returned at about 12 noon, and was confronted by Casino’s mother. Casino’s mother and sister managed to grab him and tie his hands and feet until the police came.

In his explanation, Benn said he went for a blood test and that he never masturbated.

“I go for a blood test and we been talking and I show she my privates… De second time I tell she she looking nice. All I do is zip down my pants and show she and pull it back up…,” Benn said.

After hearing what transpired, Senior Magistrate Donald Browne told Benn it is a pity that she didn’t take the blood from somewhere else.

“It’s a pity she didn’t take blood from that, because it was full of blood. You are disgusting!” Browne stated.(KW)
