Sam on $12,000 bail for alleged robbery

Petit Bordel resident Reynold Sam, 44, was granted bail of $12,000 after appearing at the Serious Offences Court on a robbery charge.{{more}}

Sam appeared yesterday before Chief Magistrate Sonya Young and was not allowed to enter a plea to the indictable charge. He was charged with robbing Eldon Duncan of Clare Valley of $3,000 at Petit Bordel, on May 12, 2011.

It is alleged that Sam used a gun to rob Duncan.

Magistrate Young adjourned the matter to January 26, 2012.
