Attorney files 13 grounds of appeal for convicted murderer

Attorney for murder convict Azari Ash has already filed 13 grounds of appeal against his client’s conviction.{{more}}

Queens Counsel Carlyle Dougan confirmed this to SEARCHLIGHT on Wednesday, August 10.

Those applications were filed last Friday, August 5.

Ash and Che Bute, both of Redemption Sharpes, were on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, convicted of the 2007 murder of Lloyd “Lazarus” Samuel.

Bute’s attorney Jomo Thomas had also said he plans on appealing on several grounds.
