Magistrate issues stern warning to teenager to keep out of court

If Kimron Prince wants to stay out of prison, he has to complete a course of study in carpentry in the Adult Literacy Program.{{more}}

This was the order given by Chief Magistrate Sonya Young to the 16 year old who had pleaded guilty to possession of 111 pounds of cannabis on February 26, 2011.

Magistrate Young had asked for a Social Inquiry report to assist in sentencing the teen.

“Don’t let me see you in my court again! Behave yourself,” the magistrate warned.

Young told Prince he has to complete the course of study, and once that happens, no further sentence will passed on him.

When he was brought to court for the first time, Prince said he was given a job by someone to help with the production of marijuana. At that time, he told the court he needed the money badly
