Browne pleads not guilty to ganja possession
Redemption Sharpes resident, Julian Browne, was granted $18,000 bail after pleading not guilty on April 19 to possession of 21,502 grams of cannabis, at the Serious Offences Court.{{more}}
Browne, who had initially pleaded guilty to the charge before obtaining counsel in the matter, was allegedly nabbed by Rapid Response Unit officers in the Peterâs Hope mountains on April 18, at about 3:10 pm.
Chief Magistrate Sonya Young ordered Browne to report to the Central Police Station on Mondays and Fridays between 6am and 6pm. The matter is adjourned to August 10.
